warnign

I have locked myself out of my car many more times than the average person. I did it today in fact.

It is because.... or i'm saying it is because....well let me first start by telling you that i'm pretty positive that i'm dyslexic. You may think i'm joking, but i'm not. I'm pretty sure its real.

Examples:
(the bolded figures are there for clarification as to where the error is)

  1. I'm at work and i'm supposed to type: TR#456789        I type: TR#456798
  2. At school i'm supposed to write: Aphasia is an acquired language impairment that cuts across all modalities (auditory, comprehnsion, verbal, expression, reading and writing) I write: Aphasia is an acquired language impairment that cust across all modalitise (auditory, comprehensoin, verbla, expression, reading and rwiting)                                                                 (let me know if you want any other facts on Aphasia....)

When we learned about dyslexia last semester I thought it sounded all too familiar (along with learning disabilities) Anyway how does this relate to me locking my keys in the car? Well I'll see my keys and _____ when getting everything from my car and think, "i'll need to grab my keys and i'll just leave _____ in here"...or... yeah thats usually what it is. Anyway then I end up taking _____ that I  wasn't going to and leaving my keys in the car. It happens...... do you want a number? Ok. I'd say every other week. Thats ridiculous. Not normal. Now I may be generalizing this dyslexic thing a little.... but just in case it's linked...... this is a warning to all of you. If you get a phone call from me at 4:30 or 5 PM....  it means that i've locked myself out and want you to come and give me a ride so I don't have to take the bus. DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONES.  I need to train my brain to not do this. I'll never learn if I get bailed out. You can serve someone else.

It's ok.... Mr. Newsom, the 7th grade math teacher everyone hated, was dyslexic. I should be fine.
